At the time of this article my wife and I have been on a total of twelve Carnival Cruises. We have our favorites and some not so favorite. What follows are two Carnival cruise ships that you can not go wrong with.

Our all time favorite ship is the Carnival Legend. The Legend is a medium sized ship at 88,500 tons, but even with a sold out ship it never seemed to be overcrowded at any area. There was a wide variety of food on this ship and it was all spectacular. The Legend was the first ship to offer flexible dining. We simply love this option as you never feel rushed to make it to dinner on time. Flexible dining means you can choose traditional main or late seating dining, or opt for the flexible choice and dine anytime between 5:30 and 9:30 pm Many people do not take advantage of eating in the dining room for breakfast. We like this because there is a wider variety of food and you are waiting on hand and foot.

This ship is also one of the cleanest and well decorated ships we have been on. The cabins are all modernized and everything is in tip top shape. The entertainment was exclusively for the Legend. They have two shows that are only available on this ship.

The Carnival Legend currently leaves us our favorite port of Tampa. This is by far the best port we have experienced before sailing on any of the carnival cruise ships. This cruise also had our favorite itinerary for the Western Caribbean. We visited Grand Cayman, Cozumel Mexico, and Isla Roatan Honduras.

Another one of the Carnival cruise ships you should enjoy is the Carnival Glory. The Glory is a huge ship at 110,000 tons. I may be slightly biased with this ship as we received a free upgrade to a small suite on this cruise. The suite is not that much better than a balcony cabin. The big differences are a slightly larger balcony, refrigerator, two cabin stewards and a full size bathtub.

The dining seemed to get a little crowded at peak times but the food was excellent. They have two very nice dining rooms, a private supper club, a very nice casual dining area and of course a 24 hour pizzeria. The entertainment was very good as it included a wide variety of shows. Choosing either one of these amazing Carnival Cruise ships is a wise choice.
